Ni Hao,This week we celebrated Chinese New Year; we are leaving the Year of the Rat and moving into the Year of the Ox. It was a busy and enjoyable week and we learned about customs and traditions. The role-play tables were set up with a Chinese table cloth, dishes, spoons and of course, chopsticks
The children noticed that some (but not all!) of the staff cars were very dirty and decided to do something about it. We thought we might need to borrow a power washer next time!

Thanks for dropping your child at the gate for Forest School today. As we walked along the path we noticed how bare the trees look without their leaves. Some children commented “it’s like skating!” as they slipped a little on the squishy leaves. Lisa mentioned the leaves were decomposing underfoot and wondered if anyone makes

We hope that everyone has had a lovely summer. We start Term 1 on Thursday 3rd September for children who have already attended the setting. We are really looking forward to seeing all of the children again, as well as welcoming and settling in all of our new starters in the week commencing 7th September
What an extraordinary end to the school year for 2020! We are so glad that we were able to re-open on 1st June and have thoroughly enjoyed the last few weeks of term together. We’ve had to adapt, the children have been so good at that and you should all be very proud of them,
