Ascott Pre-School Train Trip to Moreton-in-Marsh
We plan to have our annual train trip to Moreton-in-Marsh on Tuesday 15th July 2014. We will all meet at Charlbury station for the train, which leaves at 10.42am and arrives in Moreton at 11.00. There will be a short walk from the station to the park where the children can play and then we will all have lunch together on the grass. Please bring a picnic for yourselves and your children. Pre-School will provide ice creams. Staff are available for children who are unaccompanied – please speak to Pauline or Sharon about this beforehand.
The return train leaves at 12.50 arriving in Charlbury Station at 13.08.
There is lots of parking at the Station though you may like to consider lift sharing.
In the past at Charlbury Station you can get a discount on the prices if you form into groups of 4 when buying your tickets – 4 travel for the price of 2. Children under 5 travel free. We hope to see as many of you as possible.
Please enter your details on the attendance list which will be pinned up at Pre-School, enter your name and any children that you are responsible for on the day.
It is a short and sweet trip but we get many requests each year for it to continue. Let’s hope the sun is shining!
