For the last week or so we have made Jubilee crowns, bunting and swizzle sticks to use at our Street Party. We’ve also created golden coaches, Beefeaters, Queens and decorated crown biscuits, as well as a Platinum Jubilee Display board for Tiddy Hall. The children think that the Queen lives in a palace and that flowers, tea, horses and dogs, especially corgi’s are her favourite things. We’ve played music and danced in our Crowns. On the last day of term the chicks finally hatched from their eggs, there was great excitement and wonder at how they had managed to get out of the eggs and how exhausting it is for them! The children watched as the chicks dried off and became fluffy in the incubator before being transferred under a heat lamp. They are all going to live happily ever after at Aleesha’s house!
