Apologies about the lack of posts lately, we have had problems with the Pre-School laptop but all sorted now. Over the past week we have made pumpkins for Halloween, many of the children had Halloween parties to go to or dressed up to go trick or treating – thanks to all of the parents who posted photo’s on Tapestry – we loved seeing the costumes and the children enjoyed explaining all about their celebrations! Many of you will be going to firework displays this weekend and we have been chatting about this during the week – there was much chat about safety and even a mention for the poor old hedgehog! Some of the children made some fireworks splatter paintings and others splatted one of the big boards and made colourful, cardboard rockets for a display at Tiddy Hall. Of course there has been lots of child led play going on with the new set up of the hall and our equipment allowing all children to choose exactly what they want to play with.
