A huge thank you to all the parents and grandparents that supported the pancake café by donating ingredients, cakes and simply turning up with friends to make it such a great success. On the day we had 58 children in attendance and throughout the morning Nathalie and Daisy flipped 80 pancakes. A grand total of £200.05 was raised for the pre-school over the course of the morning. Also a big thank you to Rose from Rose’s Rhythm and Rhyme for doing a voluntary music session with the children too, those who took part really loved it! Rose’s Rhythm and Rhyme takes place every Thursday morning, 10 – 10.45am in St Edward’s Hall (just above the library) in Stow on the Wold. The class is aimed at children from baby to preschool age, with an emphasis on live music making – singing, instruments, walking, jumping and stomping to music.
