Despite the weather we decided to have a small camp fire at Forest School. Both groups were good at listening to all of the safety issues and took everything onboard so that they could be safe. We toasted marshmallows on a long stick and watched as they changed colour and became squidgy. We looked at the colour of the flames and saw what happened when Sally blew at the embers. Lovely, lovely conversation when we sat around the fire and then we sang a few songs as we poked the fire having found some very long sticks. Photos for the Beech Group fire will be posted soon.
