We have had a week of circles. The children used circles to make pictures, sticking pre-cut shapes and drawing round laminated circles. We looked at the different colours and sizes of the circles and used pens to add features – a few caterpillars, snowmen and funny faces! The listening rabbits found lots of circles in their environment and extended this to other shapes as well which led to some imaginative discussion within the group. We played circle games including Here we go round the Mulberry Bush, Ring a Ring of Roses, There was a Princess Far Away and bean bag games.
Concert preparation is going well and there has been some hearty singing!
