Bluebells at Forest School

The bluebells are in full bloom at the Forest School site and just about to go over now. We noticed that there are a few white ones and were looking out for them. We also saw lots of dandelions, nettles and greater stitchwort. We talked about looking for Dock leaves when we get stung by nettles and one child put this into practice when she got stung. Having a bit more time we were able to go on an adventure and spotted a badger track leading from the sett as well as newly planted trees with their protective covers to stop the deer nibbling them. The children drew pictures of the bluebells and Lisa will display them back at Preschool. Others did some weaving with grasses and twigs. Lots of chat today about fairies in the woods and role play in the den.
