What a busy week we had continuing our birthday theme. We all enjoyed the story of ‘Alfie lends a hand’ when he went to Bernard’s birthday party with his blanket. The children listened very well and were able to engage in chat around the feelings and behaviour in the story. We planned our own parties (one on Tuesday and one on Friday) making paper crowns, sandwiches and pizzas, icing cakes as well as practising party songs and games. We have also learnt a new birthday song which we hope to sing on children’s birthdays throughout the year.
