Saturday mornings are usually a slow start in our house but not this weekend, we were off to the Ascott Preschool Craft morning. The smell of bacon sandwiches wafted through the door and straight away the children were off into the hall to make a whole host of crafty things.. badger and fox masks as well as owls that were scratched from black paper to reveal bright colours, animal biscuits to ice and decorate along with creating a necklace from multi-coloured straws. The parents had a very sociable time too with coffee, cakes and newspapers to relax with, whilst the little ones busied themselves with chatting and being creative. What a fabulous two hours we had, where had the time gone! Kath.
