The children have enjoyed Easter activities over the last couple of weeks. They made Easter bonnets – great care was taken in the positioning of the flowers and we have a lot of photos of some very proud children. There were many different sizes of bunnies brought in and we looked at the similarities and differences. The children sang 5 Hot Cross Buns in the Bakers shop and took turns buying their playdough buns, we also had real ones to eat at snacktime. Lots of chicks have been made, Easter cards and colouring, making patterns on playdough eggs and making chocolate Easter nests. The Easter bunny provided an exciting Easter egg hunt in the woods at Forest School as well as at Pre-school – what a lot of chocolatey faces! Happy Easter.
