This week we have enjoyed learning about Jungles whilst creating some lovely art projects…. Parrot figures with bright feathers, a huge brightly coloured snake and a bright orange orang-utan which will take pride of place on one of the board displays at Pre-School.
We have also learnt two new songs, ‘there was a terrible crocodile’ and a longer version of ‘down in the jungle’. See if your children remember them, especially the terrible crocodile song which ends with a really big SNAP! Very popular! Some children particularly enjoyed playing in the tents with lots of cuddly jungle toy animals. We have had some lovely jungle themed stories and danced to rainforest music. Next week we are moving on to Mothers’ Day – don’t ask too many questions, sshh it’s a secret!
p.s. Forest School: Do take a look in the Photo Gallery for photo’s of our trip to Heidi’s Farm on Wednesday. Everyone had an absolutely fab time!
