It’s been a busy week with lots of preparation for the Christmas Concert. The Christmas Crafts will all be coming home nearer to the big day – this week some of us have been sewing a tree, these have turned out beautifully. We also visited the Day Centre at Beaconsfield Hall on Thursday, our second visit but with more children this time. Everyone had a fantastic time starting off in the rain at the park (no complaints!) and then in for snack which the children ate at little tables whilst our friends at the Day Centre had their coffee and biscuits. Once all the eating and drinking was over the children are able to join the adults, some played with playdough, others joining construction toys or reading stories etc. The Pre-School staff and volunteers at the Day Centre are thrilled with the success of these visits, the adults love seeing the little ones and their interactions, chat and conversations are lovely to see and hear. At the end one lady said that it had made her day! What more could we ask for! Finishing the week off with snow made it feel very Christmassy – stay warm this weekend everyone!
