We started the week learning about Diwali, the Festival of Light and all gathered around lots of candles and our own diva lamps – we celebrated by singing a new Diwali song ‘Little Lights’. We also made Rangoli patterns with chalk on cardboard and the children learned that a rangoli is a colourful design made on the floor near the entrance to a house to welcome guests. We have been practising the songs for our Christmas Concert and will arrange for the words to be put onto this website so that you can carry on the singing at home! We’ve made a start on some Christmas crafts too, as well as starting some art activities to make the boards at the Hall nice and festive – so all in all another busy week at Tiddy!
