This week we looked at a book ‘A Sunday with Grandpa’ – all about a family taking a train journey to see the childrens’ Grandpa who lives in the Countryside. We made a start on a train display board for the hall and made tool boxes (Grandpa has a very old fashioned workshop full of tools and wood). Some children made Father’s Day ‘footprint’ cards. We were also very kindly invited to Gus’s house for the morning on Thursday … we met on the village green and walked to the house where we had a nice long play in the garden and treated to a lovely snack too. Little Dancers also took place in the garden. A big thank you to Gus and his family for having us!
